This is the inscription on our rings...and the theme for our wedding solemnization. "Hesed" is a hebrew word for loving kindness.
A more complete definition of 'hesed' would include: covenantal love, loyalty, the consistent, the ever faithful, relentless, constantly-pursuing, lavish, extravagent, unrestrained, furious love...'Hesed' is God's character and His extent of love for us...The theme of 'hesed' is woven throughout the book of Ruth in the bible. The story touches us a lot and we want this hesed to be the source of our marriage...treating and pursuing each other with hesed...loving kindness... covenantal love..."His Hesed, Our Source"
