Its funny isn't it...how a lot of times we get so frustrated when things don't go our way. But when we look in retrospect, we were glad and thankful things didn't actually go our way.
And thats what people called 'Blessings in disguise' yeah...
We experienced just THAT a few nights ago... We were gonna book air tickets online for our year end get-away... *yap yap...PAW's going on a holiday! say yeah!!*
We logged on to Jetstar ...knowing there's a discount for POSB Everyday card holder... So we tried booking the tickets...having decided where we want to go after much thought and deliberation...
Then when we've filled in all the particulars and happily pressed the 'Purchase' button...
"ERROR MESSAGE" popped up!
ARGHHHHH....so frustrating...just before we pressed the purchase button, there was a prompt for us NOT to refresh or go back. But now we're stuck!!! So we attempted to go back...
Everything was back to the original state~ So we had to key in everything again... Angela: *super pekcek after having to key in again* OKAYYYY....this time it should work!!! *said a silent prayer...praying that God would bless our holiday* Amen!

"ERROR MESSAGE" again!!! *ultimate arghhhhh*
So we tried again for the THIRD time! oh man...no prize for guessing what happened for the THIRD time! "ERROR MESSAGE"
PIANGZ! We were very frustrated by then...oh well budget airline lah...wat to do! But we're also worried the transaction actually went through...THREE times for that matter! But there was nothing we could do that night...
Angela then called the call centre the next day...the lady verified that no transaction was made. *Phew number 1*
Then she offered to book the tickets for us through phone but paying internet rate...if buying ticket over phone, by right there will be a higher processing fee...But we're paying the internet rate... *Phew number 2*
Then i asked her about the POSB Everyday discount...And it so turned out that the 5% discount is discount off the airfares! -> well, Paul thought the night before that the 5% will be rebated into the card. Meaning...if we had purchased the tickets online the night before (we didn't use the special site for POSB Card coz we didn't know) we would have paid the full price!!!!
We have saved about $20 per person!!! We would have missed that if the transaction went through the night before!!! *Phew number 3*
Actually we've been checking the availability and rate of the airfares for over 2 weeks now. The rate and availability has remained the same over the 2 weeks. But that night we decided to quickly make payment...That was really God's guidance!! Just ONE night after we've make payment, the rate went up by 10 dollars! and NOW, 2 nights later, the fare suddenly jumped by 70 DOLLARS!!!!!! how INSANE!

Now we're just so thankful that the transaction didn't go through that night and we could save some money. And also we bought at such a right time and we now have a bigger savings!! Thank God!! His goodness shines through!
Indeed we learn...His way is higher than ours!
Anyway...now we're just looking forward to our trip! Yippie!!! Angela: arghhh another 3 more months!! *counting with fingers*
